High-Capacity Sawmill Pulse Dust Extraction System

📍 Wagga Wagga, NSW • System: Reverse Pulse Baghouse Model RP-600 • Delivered: January 2026

Client Requirements & Challenges

The facility produces over 15 tonnes of fine timber sawdust and woodchips daily across 4 high-speed planers and sanding lines. The existing outdated extraction setup failed WHS combustible dust guidelines and posed severe health hazards to operating personnel.

Engineering Solution Delivered

ADFC engineered, fabricated, and installed a heavy-duty Reverse Pulse Baghouse Dust Collector (Model RP-600) with a total airflow capacity of 42,000 m³/h. The installation featured heavy-gauge galvanized steel ducting, explosion relief venting, spark detection & extinguishing systems, and automated rotary airlock waste discharge directly into storage silos.
