Client Requirements & Challenges
An iron foundry required continuous high-temperature exhaust airflow (up to 280Β°C) across their induction melting furnace hood network with minimal acoustic vibration.
Engineering Solution Delivered
ADFC manufactured twin direct-drive heavy centrifugal exhaust fans fitted with insulated heat-dissipating shafts, backward-curved self-cleaning impellers, and acoustic silencers operating smoothly below 80 dBA at 1 metre.
Australian Dust & Fume Control was contracted to design, engineer, and install a custom system for this project located in Dandenong, VIC.
